John J. Kain II
John J. Kain II is a distinguished financial professional with extensive experience in real estate, construction, and accounting. A licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and graduate of Augusta State University with a BBA in Accounting, John began his career in 2008 at a large regional public accounting firm. He later transitioned to Ernst & Young’s Real Estate Tax Team in Atlanta, GA, where he honed his expertise in global compliance and reporting. Currently, John serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at The Giddings Group, LLC, a position he has held since July 2017.
Throughout his career, John has developed a wide array of real estate and construction experience all over the United States. He has assisted with the structuring, start-up, and compliance of various REITs, as well as complex private equity and debt structures. In his current role, he has overseen the development, construction, lease-up, and sales of over 600,000 square feet of self-storage space and over 1,000,000 square feet of multifamily space.
Travis Gamble
Travis is a career entrepreneur. Prior to the founding of Kain Gamble Development with John, he was the CEO and majority owner of SRI Holdings. SRI Holdings was a leading installer of insulation and specialty building products in the residential and light commercial markets in the Southeast and Midwest. SRI was formed in mid-2017 with one location in Augusta, GA, and was divested in January of 2023. At the time of sale SRI had 15 locations and over 500 people working in six states.
Travis also gained knowledge in distribution from his college intern days with Georgia-Pacific Distribution division full line service center in Fargo, ND, and also his years owning a two location siding distribution business, Alstar Inc. International in the greater Augusta Georgia market. Travis holds a BS degree in Accounting from North Dakota State University.
Travis has experience in the fast casual restaurant space, having owned and developed Five Guys Franchises with three locations in the state of North Dakota.
Travis has previously owned small businesses over the last 25 years including Complete Residential Siding, and numerous other small businesses. He invests as a majority investor and also a minority investor.
Over the last 10 years he has invested in multi-family real estate, industrial warehouses, flex space and office space. Owned, developed, managed, or transacted over a million square feet of real estate.
He currently serves on the board of Champions of the Heart, and the Homebuilder’s Association of Savannah Ga. Through philanthropy he quietly supports numerous worthy Charities.
Travis resides with his family in Evans, Ga. He has been happily married to Cheryl for 24 plus years and has two boys that attend Augusta Preparatory Day School. The family lives with two dogs Rookie and Milkshake, adopted as puppies from Columbia County Animal Services. Travis and his family attend Trinity on the Hill Methodist Church, and St. Mary’s On the Hill Catholic Church.
